Teaching in the Era of AI

The rapid expansion of AI has been paramount to us! Thanks to the efforts of our DLA program director, Dr. JJ Wallace, and last year's Faculty Learning Community on Teaching with AI, we have engaged in ongoing programming for faculty.

Students, faculty, and staff participated in this workshop on ways teachers can integrate AI into writing-based classes.

And, Drs. Iva Katzarska-Miller and JJ Wallace, the facilitators of the "Teaching with AI" Faculty Learning Community, produced an online resource for Transy faculty. Fortner and Katzarska-Miller published the 2024 article, "Using Generative AI to Promote the APA’s Five Goals for Undergraduate Majors" in Teaching of Psychology.

Wallace created online trainings for instructors nationwide.
