Founded in August 2023, the Bingham Center for Teaching Excellence serves as a catalyst for evidence-supported teaching practices and engaged learning at Transylvania University. The Center staff offers a variety of resources and opportunities for faculty to deepen and enhance their teaching practice.

Funded through the Bingham Trust, the Center supports faculty grants that advance teaching and the meaningful integration of technology that supports students' learning and future careers. The Center promotes professional development for faculty and teaching staff and fosters presentations and publications related to the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SOTL).
